Barak Africa Child Rights Initiative (BACRI) is a Not-For-Profit Organization dedicated to educating & empowering children about their fundamental human rights and civic responsibilities. We are of the firm belief that if the rights of children can be protected, we are giving them a great chance of having a brighter future and leading successful lives as adults

Our Mission Is To
1. Provide Educational Materials
Produce and provide engaging materials (comics, books, articles, journals) that teach human rights in a way that's easy to understand to children.
2. Teach Leadership & Responsibility
Prepare children for leadership by teaching them about their rights and responsibilities
3. Child Protection Target
Reduce child rights abuse and exploitation by 80% over the next 5 years.
4. Child Protection Target
Instill values, ethics, and morals in young minds.
5. Create Civic Clubs
Establish BACRI civic clubs in schools, where children are taught to debate about their rights and any form of violation they experience and learn from each other.
6. Ensure Government Advocacy
Intersect with relevant government at all levels on child rights protection and advocacy. This includes advocating for the domestication and implementation of Nigeria's child rights act in every state in Nigeria.
7. Be The Foremost Educator
To be a foremost educator of child rights and responsibilities, beginning in Nigeria, to West Africa and the entire continent. By doing this, we empower children to become responsible citizens, protect themselves from abuse, and demand their basic needs.
